Choose MP3 as the audio format in Fetchii's Settings → Downloads, then download the video's link as Audio only: Fetchii saves just the soundtrack as an MP3. This works for videos on 1,000+ websites; Fetchii doesn't convert video files that are already on your Mac.

Choose MP3
Open Fetchii → Settings → Downloads. Under Audio, set Audio format to MP3 and leave Audio quality on Best.

Decide when you want audio only
If every download should be audio, set Default download type (under Quality & Format) to Audio only. Or leave it on Video: Fetchii keeps MP3 as your audio format and uses it whenever you pick Audio only for a single download.

Download the video's audio
With Default download type set to Audio only, paste the link into the link field and press Enter. Otherwise click the options button at the right end of the link field (or press ⌘N), paste the link, choose Audio only and click Download.

Find the MP3
When it's done, right-click the download and choose Show in Finder.
Please note:Only save audio you have the right to keep, such as your own recordings or music licensed for download.

Audio format also offers M4A (the default), Opus and FLAC.
Even out the volume
Turn on Normalize audio volume in the same section for consistent loudness across files.
Already downloaded the video?
Right-click the finished download and choose Convert → Extract Audio to save its sound as M4A (AAC), Opus, FLAC or WAV. MP3 is only available when you download as audio.
Can Fetchii convert an MP4 that's already on my Mac?
No. Fetchii converts what it downloads: it saves audio from a link, and it can convert videos in its own download list. It doesn't open video files from elsewhere.
What MP3 quality do I get?
Audio quality has four settings: Best (the default), High, Medium and Low. Best gives the largest, highest-quality file.
Which sites does this work with?
Any of the 1,000+ sites Fetchii can download from, such as YouTube or Bilibili.
Is it free?
